SUPPORT

Your local notes should stay useful—even when something else fails.

Start with the recovery steps below. Support will never ask for note text, passwords, authentication codes, purchase receipts, or private keys.

The app is offline or an online feature is unavailable

  1. Keep working locally; capture, Today, Boards, search, reminders, and backup do not require the API.
  2. Check connectivity and reopen CueMeThen.
  3. For cloud or AI, confirm you are signed in with the original method and account.
  4. Do not clear app storage or uninstall before creating a local backup.

A reminder did not alert

Open Today first—the reminder remains there even when the browser or Android does not deliver an alert.

  1. Check CueMeThen’s notification permission.
  2. On iPhone or iPad, install CueMeThen to the Home Screen before enabling browser notifications.
  3. On the website, reconnect and open CueMeThen so an offline schedule can retry; browser delivery is not exact.
  4. On Android, open Alarms & reminders if CueMeThen offered precise delivery, then review battery optimization and force-stop state.
  5. Open CueMeThen again so schedules can reconcile after time-zone, permission, browser, or device changes.

Back up or restore device-only notes

In Settings, use Export backup and save the archive somewhere you control. Restore validates the archive and imports everything as device-only data. It does not silently upload restored notes. Keep at least one backup outside the phone before an OS reset, app-data clear, or device migration.

Sign-in looks like a different account

Email OTP and Google sign-in are isolated identities. Signing in with Google and typing the same Gmail address into email OTP does not link those accounts. Sign out and use the exact original method. Support cannot merge identities or inspect note content.

A purchase is not recognized

  1. Sign into the exact CueMeThen identity used at checkout, including the original email OTP or Google method.
  2. Check that the subscription is active in Paddle’s portal or, after Android publication, Google Play.
  3. Wait briefly for store/webhook reconciliation and retry once.
  4. Use the management link shown by CueMeThen; do not buy a second subscription from another provider.

A website subscription follows the same CueMeThen identity into the future Android app. One purchase cannot authorize two live CueMeThen identities. Support may ask for a Paddle transaction or Google Play order identifier through a secure support process, but never send a full receipt or payment details by ordinary email.

Cloud conflict, quota, or ended subscription

Conflicts create visible device-only recovery copies instead of overwriting work. Storage-increasing writes stop at 500 MB for Pro or 2 GB for Pro Max; deleting or reducing cloud content remains possible. When a subscription ends, cloud data is read-only for 90 days. Export or keep device copies before that recovery period ends.

Export or delete an account

Open CueMeThen Pro, choose Manage account, then export cloud data or schedule deletion. Deletion needs a recent sign-in and remains reversible for 30 days. Full web instructions are on the account-deletion page.

Security or privacy issue

For a suspected vulnerability, follow the security-reporting instructions. For access, correction, privacy, or deletion questions, use the contact above and read the privacy notice.
